Monkey Business
Cabernet Sauvignon
Califonia, year unknown (prob. 2006)
Very good wine but primarily for summer. Fantastic with fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, and olive oil. Also pretty good with salads, meats, pasta dishes, and decent on its own. Not as good for fall/winter.
This wine has held up over the past several years, and I still enjoy it. It has a complexity of flavor (and a lovely color) that is quite good for a wine of its price range ($11-15, depending on year and store).
Its main flaw is that they tend to be poor quality corks; very difficult to uncork.
